Courtyard by Marriott Miami Downtown/Brickell Area

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay at Courtyard Miami Downtown! I had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard in Miami Downtown. The area is very walkable, with tons of restaurants, shops, and things to do just steps away, which made exploring the city super convenient. I also want to give a special shoutout to the front desk agent, Celine. She was very great and extremely helpful, especially since it was my first time going on a cruise. She answered all my questions, helped me feel prepared, and made the whole check-in experience smooth and stress-free. Her customer service truly made a difference. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay at this Courtyard Downtown/Brickell. Jessa at the front desk was wonderful. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. So happy the room had a bathtub to enjoy, rather than destroying those great fixtures and converting them to stand-up showers like so many other hotels. Pool and pool area are very well-kept. The location is great and easy to get to, especially for Uber/Lyft.

My mom and I stayed at this hotel for a cruise back in January. (We were supposed to stay at another hotel but decided not to due to cockroaches) This was one of the few hotels that were available for last minute booking. I read the reviews online and was skeptical at first but this hotel is AMAZING. The service is great, staff is positive, very attentive and the restaurant onsite is like a bistro. The food is really good. The staff seemed very personable when asking where we were from and striking up a conversation. They offer a shuttle to the Port of Miami. 10 dollars per person and the shuttle bus is huge. It only took 15 minutes to get to the port. I will say the rooms are very nice. Might need some updating but it’s not bad. I see reviews about noise at night with hearing cars out their windows. Well, that’s city life for you. I didn’t really notice any noise but I also live in a city myself. They have an outdoor pool as well and a gym. They also have a little shop by guest services. I will be staying at this hotel again for another upcoming cruise. Take all of the other reviews with a grain of salt because we had no issues whatsoever. 10/10 will recommend!!!

Robert was amazing. We arrived the night before our cruise, on the 11th of January. After a long day of traveling, little things went wrong. Robert and the rest of the staff were able to help us have a wonderful stay. He even found our credit card and drink cup that we left at the desk during checkout.

This is a decent hotel, room is nice. Designed well...Location is decent. If you're here for a convention its probably ideal. I'm here for a cruise and honestly I should have picked something closer to the beach. My only issue with this hotel is the customer service upon check in. When I arrived for check in I noticed that the lady offered bottles of water to the guests before me and explained to them all about complimentary breakfast. When her colleague came out the back to help and check me in, he didn't offer me any water nor did he explain to me anything about the hotel, let alone breakfast. Ok well maybe it slipped his mind.....except that when I came downstairs to ask about the wifi I watched this same guy offer and bring water as well as explain the hotel and breakfast to other guest checking in. I would hate to think it had anything to do with my ethnic background so I won't accuse them of anything....

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Miami, and the customer service truly made the experience stand out. I especially want to recognize Sebastian at the front desk, who went above and beyond for our family. Our plans changed at the last minute when our two boys unexpectedly joined the trip, and Sebastian was incredibly accommodating with a short-term upgrade request. He handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care, making what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. Throughout our stay, he consistently checked in to make sure our needs were met and took the time to provide thoughtful recommendations around Miami, which we really appreciated. It’s moments like these that remind you of the true value of being a Marriott Bonvoy member—feeling recognized, valued, and treated with special care. Thank you to Sebastian and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

The rooms are big and clean, what you would expect from a typical courtyard. The location is great as well. They seem to need a bit more front desk staff who are actually being attentive. It is busy and you have to wait, even though some workers seem to be doing not much … but that’s a minor gripe. It was great overall.

We had a great stay at this Courtyard after returning from a cruise. The rooms were what we've come to expect from a courtyard, very clean and comfortable. Christopher at The Bistro was great to talk to and order from. Great customer service and so friendly! We will definitely return if we are back in Miami for a future vacation!
